Which is the best club or executive lounge in the best luxury hotels in Florence? Typically, the Ritz-Carlton or InterContinental offers the best club lounge in a city or resort, but there’s no Ritz-Carlton or InterContinental in Florence. This leaves you with a rather limited choice of hotels in Florence with club lounges, which I have outlined below.
If you’re a luxury traveler, we recommend trying the stunning Four Seasons Hotel Firenze. This Four Seasons is excellent when a club lounge isn’t a deal breaker. Set in the city’s largest private garden, a tranquil oasis of statues, fountains and centuries-old trees, this hotel is something special, with suites featuring ancient frescoes on the walls amid original architectural features. Add in the Michelin-starred Italian restaurant and locally-inspired spa, just steps away from the cultural heart of Florence, and you’ll discover a very special Four Seasons outpost.
You may or may not know that when you book a stay at a luxury hotel in Florence through an official Preferred Partner agent like our luxury travel concierge, you’ll receive two complimentary breakfasts along with other fantastic benefits like a delicious welcome gift with priority room- Upgrade (subject to availability) and $100 resort credit.
We offer free upgrades, free breakfast and free perks in almost all luxury hotels (and you can also collect your usual Marriott Bonvoy Hyatt etc. points and status benefits on bookings with us). See what our customers are saying about us and how excited they are about the extra benefits we offer.
1. Best Club Lounge: Hilton Florence Metropole
There’s a Westin and a St. Regis in Florence, but neither have a Club Lounge, although they’re decent hotels. We reviewed St. Regis Florence last summer.
The only hotel our research picked up with an Executive Club Lounge is the Hilton Florence Metropole, and this isn’t a luxury hotel. This fairly basic hotel is located in the west district of Florence, four kilometers from Florence Airport and six kilometers from Firenze Santa Maria Novella train station. There is a shuttle service to the center and there are executive floors. The Club Lounge offers breakfast and evening snacks, but a luxury traveler would be disappointed by the location and lack of luxury at this hotel.
